Commercial & Office Moving in Orem, Utah

An office move isn't a bigger version of a home move — it's an entirely different discipline. Downtime costs money. Misplaced files disrupt operations. One mishandled server rack can knock your team offline for days. Our commercial crews are trained specifically for the stakes of business relocation.

Minimize Downtime With a Structured Relocation Plan

Every commercial move starts with a site assessment where we map the current layout, catalog equipment, and build a phased moving plan. The goal is always the same: your employees leave the old office on Friday and sit down at a fully functional new office on Monday.

We handle cubicle systems (Herman Miller, Steelcase, HON — we've taken them all apart and put them back together), conference room furniture, break room appliances, and the sea of file boxes that every office accumulates. Each department's belongings are color-coded and labeled so nothing crosses lines during the move.

IT Equipment and Sensitive Hardware

Servers, network racks, monitors, printers, and desktop setups get handled by crew members trained in electronics transport. We use anti-static wrap, padded crating, and climate-conscious loading positions to protect your hardware.

We coordinate with your IT team or managed service provider to define the disconnect/reconnect sequence. Our job is to get the physical equipment safely to the new location, positioned and ready for your tech team to plug in and go. We've moved offices in Lehi's tech corridor, the towers downtown in Salt Lake City, and medical practices along University Parkway in Orem.

Weekend and After-Hours Scheduling

Most of our commercial moves happen on Saturdays, Sundays, or weekday evenings — specifically so your business doesn't lose operating hours. We schedule around your calendar, not ours. If your lease overlap gives you a two-day window between spaces, we'll have the crew and trucks lined up to execute within that window.

For larger offices that need a phased approach (department by department over multiple weekends), we'll build a detailed timeline and assign the same crew to every phase so they learn your space and your systems.

Commercial Moving FAQ

Can you move our office over a single weekend?

For offices under 5,000 square feet with standard furniture and equipment, a single-weekend relocation is typical. Larger offices or those with complex IT infrastructure may need a phased approach over two or more weekends. We'll assess your specific situation during the site walkthrough and build a timeline that matches your operational needs.

Do you handle cubicle and modular furniture systems?

Yes. Our commercial crews are experienced with all major systems furniture brands — Herman Miller, Steelcase, Knoll, HON, and others. We disassemble each workstation, label every panel, bracket, and connector, and reassemble in the new layout. If you have a new floor plan from your space planner, we'll follow it exactly.

How do you protect sensitive documents during the move?

File cabinets are locked or sealed with tamper-evident tape before loading. Boxes of sensitive documents are transported separately from general office contents and delivered directly to your designated secure area. If you need a chain-of-custody log for compliance purposes, we can provide one.
