Everything You Need to Know
Every move is different, which is why we don't publish a one-size-fits-all price list. Your cost depends on the size of your home, how much furniture needs to be moved, whether you need packing services, and the distance between locations. Most local moves in the Orem/Provo area start in the range of $300–$800 for smaller apartments and go up from there for full homes. The best way to get an accurate number? Request a free estimate — we'll walk through your space and give you a transparent, itemized quote with no surprises.
Never. This is the hill we die on. Every person on your moving crew is a permanent, W-2 employee of Utah's Moving and Storage. They're background checked, drug tested, and trained to crew leader level before they ever step foot in a customer's home. We don't pull names from a staffing agency the morning of your move. You'll never be a guinea pig for someone's first day.
We're based in Orem and serve the entire Wasatch Front — Provo, Lehi, Salt Lake City, Sandy, Draper, Saratoga Springs, Park City, and everywhere in between. For long-distance moves, we handle relocations of 400+ miles to and from Utah, anywhere in the continental United States. Same dedicated crew, same truck, door to door.
Your assigned crew arrives at the scheduled time in a clean, branded truck with all necessary equipment — pads, blankets, shrink wrap, dollies, straps. They'll do a walkthrough with you, confirm the plan, then get to work. Furniture gets disassembled, wrapped, and loaded with care. At your new place, everything is unloaded, reassembled, and placed where you want it. Before we leave, your crew leader does a final walkthrough with you to make sure everything is right.
Yes — full packing, partial packing, or no packing at all. It's your call. Our packers bring all materials (boxes, tape, paper, bubble wrap) and pack everything from kitchen dishes to closet contents. If you'd rather pack yourself and just need us for the heavy lifting, that works too. We also offer unpacking services at your new place.
Every move includes basic valuation coverage at no additional cost. For higher-value moves or items with significant sentimental or monetary value, we can arrange full replacement value protection. We'll walk through your options during the estimate so you can choose the coverage level that gives you peace of mind.
As early as possible — especially if you're moving during summer (May through September), which is peak season in Utah. We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks out for local moves and 4–6 weeks for long-distance. That said, we understand life happens fast.
